Sundays used to fill me with dread. I hated being reminded that I would soon have to leave the relaxing weekend behind, spend less time with my family, and deal with my boss the next morning.
What I've discovered is that I no longer dread Mondays because I'm doing work that matters to me and working with people I enjoy spending time with. I'm in control, so it gives me a sense of calm and peace. So, I think you're right. The alignment is there.
I also do feel better about giving myself time to rest and live my personal life, though I tend to do that in a blended way with work. The lines do seem blurred, but in a better way than my life was before with my corporate job didn't let me have much of a personal life.
