💡 Creating Courses on Payhip (Issue 117)
Turn your knowledge into profit
For several years, I created and hosted courses on Podia. They have a pretty nice course creation flow, but I wasn’t happy with their pricing model to get the features I wanted (e.g., connecting my own domain).
Then, I discovered Payhip and its Free Forever plan!
People have recommended a few other services for hosting courses, but most were a joke. They let you upload videos and files, but that’s about it. Sorry, but that's not a real course-building tool.
On the other hand, Payhip gives you a serious course builder with sections, lessons, text, quizzes, surveys, videos, downloads, sales pages, certificates, and more. See the example below.

Pricing
Payhip offers a Free Forever plan but charges a 5% transaction fee on sales.
The Plus plan is $29/month and has a 2% transaction fee.
The Pro plan is $99/month and has 0% transaction fees.
Payhip uses PayPal and Stripe to process payments, so you’ll need to sign up for PayPal or Stripe and connect your account to start receiving payments. Depending on your chosen plan, you’ll be charged 0-5% transaction fees (plus the standard transaction fees for PayPal or Stripe).
