I published a book/journal on Lulu in about 20 minutes today.
Okay, that’s a slight exaggeration. I already had the content for the journal created in Vellum and a cover I designed using a template from Lulu. But uploading and getting the book ready to sell was pretty darn easy (compared to Amazon or Barnes & Noble).
Here is the cover and some pages from the journal:
You can check out my journal, “The Invincible Solopreneurs Daily Journal - Building Your Business Day by Day,” on Lulu. They make it pretty easy to create other versions (e.g., paperback, spiral bound), so I’ll experiment with that soon.
They have a nice blog post about “The Benefits of Writing a Book: Why Every Entrepreneur Should Publish.” Check it out and get some content ideas for your business!
Some things you can create and sell through Lulu include:
Print books
eBooks
Notebooks
Journals
Calendars
Cookbooks
Photo books
Graphics novels
Comic books
Magazines
Yearbooks
What ideas do you have for print products that might make sense for your business?
